Assalamu Alaikum,

You know Quran Begain's with word Allhamdulillah. And do you know in this word hamd meaning is praise and gratitude. Which truly belong only to Allah. In daily life sometime gratitude is normally covered by complaints and negativities in life so it may be difficult to recognize what we should thanks for. Even if we know a lot of good things, it is difficult to concentrate on the positive and shift away from issues. It is essential to recognize the distinction between praise and gratitude for personal growth. And in word Allhamdulillah. Which embodies both praise and gratitude. This marks an essential progression in nurturing our spiritual connection with Allah.

Prophet ibrahim (alaihis salam). He was grew up in the care of his father, who loved him, yet he was a believer in idol worship. Ibrahim (alaihis salam) could be grateful to his father for raising him, yet he could not praise his father for the falsehood his father followed. Praise only belongs to Allah. So, while ibrahim (alaihis salam) acknowledged the good from his father, his heart was always filled with both praise and gratitude for Allah alone.

This distinction between gratitude and praise is at the core of Alhamdulillah. It is what teaches us that while we can thank people for their goodness, praise and gratitude in their absolute sense are reserved for Allah alone.
